About this series

The SPR series is a rotating spray washer, not an ultrasonic tank: the basket turns while high-pressure jets wash the load at up to 3.3 bar, in a closed-loop water circuit with heating and an oil skimmer. It is the right machine for heavy, greasy, open geometry — gearbox housings, engine blocks, castings — where the job is bulk soil removal rather than reaching into blind holes.

How the SPR washes

A rotating spray washer for large, greasy parts. It cleans by spray, not by ultrasound: the basket turns under high-pressure jets of heated wash liquid, in a closed loop with an oil skimmer, in 250, 500 and 780 litres.

Rotating basket, 360° wash

The basket turns while the high-pressure jets spray it, so the load is washed from every side.

As the basket turns, every face of the load passes the jets in turn: a 360° clean. The mechanical force of the spray takes oil, dust, polishing compound and machining residue off complex and heavy parts, without manual scrubbing.

Basket diameters are 750 mm on the SPR-250, 1000 mm on the SPR-500 and 1250 mm on the SPR-780.

High-pressure jets, 3.3 bar

Nozzle jets wash the load with warm liquid at up to 3.3 bar, on all three sizes.

Spray works by impact: the jets knock the soil off the surface. That suits heavy, greasy, open geometry such as gearbox housings, engine blocks and castings, where the job is bulk soil removal.

A jet does not reach into blind holes the way an immersion bath does. For parts with internal passages, the SPR does the pre-wash and an ultrasonic tank does the fine cleaning.

Closed-loop water circuit

The pump returns the wash liquid to the heated tank after every pass, so the same volume works cycle after cycle.

The liquid is pumped to the nozzles, sprayed over the load and drains back into the tank. Nothing goes to the drain between cycles, which saves water and running costs.

The SPR-250, SPR-500 and SPR-780 hold 250, 500 and 780 litres. How long a fill lasts depends on the oil and solid soil the parts bring in; the oil skimmer removes the oil continuously.

Oil skimmer

Takes the floating oil off the wash liquid continuously, so the bath keeps cleaning and lasts longer.

Oil washed off the parts rises and floats on the liquid. Left there, it ends up back on the parts. The integrated skimmer removes it continuously while the washer works.

That keeps the solution quality consistent over time and extends the life of each fill: fewer bath changes and less waste liquid.

Thermostatic heating, 9 to 15 kW

A thermostat holds the wash liquid at the set temperature; the heaters are rated 9, 12 and 15 kW on the three sizes.

Warm liquid softens oil and grease and helps the detergent act faster, and a stable temperature gives the same result from one batch to the next. On the SPR-250 the thermostat is set between 30 and 100 °C.

Thermostat and timer sit in the control cabinet: set the temperature and the cycle time, and the wash stops at the end of the cycle.

Front loading on a platform

The load goes in from the front over a loading platform; a forklift or crane can set heavy parts in place directly.

A loading trolley is included: heavy or sharp batches move in and out without being lifted by hand, which is safer and easier on the operator.

The basket carries up to 250 kg on the SPR-250 and up to 300 kg on the SPR-500 and SPR-780.

AISI304 stainless steel throughout

Built entirely in 2 mm AISI304 stainless steel, on adjustable feet.

Stainless steel resists corrosion from the warm wash liquid and stands up to daily industrial use.

Adjustable feet level the machine on the workshop floor. The SPR-250 weighs about 290 kg, the SPR-500 450 kg and the SPR-780 700 kg; all three run on a 400 V supply.

Alone or as a pre-wash

Use it alone for open parts, or before an ultrasonic tank as the pre-wash; dual rinse stages, chemical dosing and a drying module are options.

As a pre-treatment, the SPR takes the heavy soil off before ultrasonic cleaning, inspection, coating or assembly, so the next bath stays clean longer.

Typical work: machined parts before inspection, engine parts, housings and brake components, moulds and dies before coating, polishing paste on watch and jewellery parts, and repair parts in maintenance workshops.
