Right of withdrawal

This page applies to consumers who buy from Cepimac BV (brand Sonixtek) at a distance, through our website, by e-mail or by telephone. Business customers have no right of withdrawal; see the last section. The model withdrawal form is at the end of this page.

Your right of withdrawal

You may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The period starts on the day after you, or a person you name other than the carrier, receive the goods. If one order arrives in several shipments, it starts on the day after you receive the last one. If the last day falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the period ends on the next working day.

How to withdraw

Send us a clear statement that you withdraw from the contract, by e-mail to info@sonixtek.eu or by letter to Cepimac BV, Rochesterlaan 11, 8470 Gistel, Belgium. You may use the form at the end of this page, but you do not have to. It is enough that you send your statement before the 14 days have passed. If you call us on +33 1 89 48 03 68, please also confirm in writing so that you have proof. We confirm receipt of your withdrawal by e-mail.

Refund

• We refund all payments we received from you, including the cost of standard delivery, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day we receive your withdrawal.
• If you chose a more expensive type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery we offered, we do not refund the difference.
• We refund using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction (for an online order, through Mollie; for a bank transfer, to the account you paid from), unless you expressly agree to another method. You pay no fees for the refund.
• We may hold back the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have shown that you have sent them, whichever comes first.

Returning the goods

• Send the goods back to the address we give you when you withdraw. Do this without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you told us you are withdrawing. You meet the deadline if you send the goods before the 14 days have passed.
• You pay the direct cost of returning the goods. For a benchtop unit this is the cost of a normal parcel shipment. If an item cannot be returned by normal parcel post, the quotation states the maximum cost of returning it.
• Please drain the tank, rinse out any cleaning chemistry, let the unit dry and pack it well, preferably in the original packaging.
• You are only responsible for a loss in value caused by handling the goods more than is needed to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, as you could in a shop. Unpacking the unit, inspecting it and running it briefly with water is normal testing; cleaning real parts with chemistry goes beyond it.

When there is no right of withdrawal

There is no right of withdrawal for goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised (Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU and Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law). This includes custom-built lines and machines built to the dimensions, frequency, power, heating or other specification you gave us. A standard machine with options chosen from our catalogue is not made to your specification and can be returned.

Business customers

The right of withdrawal exists only for consumers. Business customers (see our terms of sale, A2) cannot withdraw from a contract. A return is possible only if we agree to it in writing.
